Saints On Deck
Officially formed in 2010, Saints On Deck consists of members Black Tha Kidd and Kash D. Known for their chaotic live shows and ability to infuse multiple genre's of music to showcase their true creative firepower the 2 MC's are too loud to be ignored. Hip hop, heavy metal, reggae and a combination of talent and drive has the duo creating a major buzz in the Chicago area. It all started in 2010 when the Saints and two friends started the group Windy City Saints. Before their first project was finished inner turmoil caused a founding member to quit the group. The remaining three fomed Saints On Deck and released their first mixtape entitled "Blood On The Walls." Gaining local popularity the Saints started doing shows and through a friend got hooked up with the head of Mother Brain Productions and lead singer of Fluid Minds who agreed to record the Saint's next mixtape at his Melody Sunrise Studio. Once again the drama came and what was once a three man group dwindled down to two. That didnt slow them down though, Kash and BTK embraced their passion and talent for creating music and beat out all expectations with the release of their second mixtape "2 Saints Standing", released in 2011. After a year of doing shows all over the city and suburbs the two went back to the studio to record their third mixtape entitled "Brain Damage", which features production and guest appearances from Asa Phelps, Johnny Cosmic, P-Tugz, J. Digga and Menace. The first single off of Brain Damage "The Bakery" gained attention on local Chicago airwaves. Shortly after the release the Saints met with White Jesus who recognized their vision and ambition, added them to his label 6 Rings Ent. With the 6 Rings powerhouse behind them S.O.D. is ready to unleash their audio assault onto the world. Currently in the studio prepping their 6 Rings debut album which will include features from White Jesus, Awdazcate, Fluid Minds, Knowledgeborn, Number 2 and more, plus production by Johnny Cosmic, Tha Truth Tella, Mercimer, and Asa Phelps to name a few. Saints On Deck and Mercimer remix album dropping early 2013.
